ILRS policy is to bring in and work along side additional Partners
on a project by project basis as the needs arise. The projects indicated
below reflect this philosophy.
ILRS are currently seeking a number of public transport
projects many of which are not yet in the public domain.
| A
proposed ultra modern high passenger volume bespoke super tram
system for the city of Kolkata. The proposed multi route system
will eventually link the airport, Salt Lake city, to the city
centre and Joka to Esplanade The system will incorporate the
use novel energy efficient technology and state-of-the-art telematics.
It is proposed that the vehicles are made locally and use long
life composite body construction. scoping
